Why subscribe?

The Evening Post & Mail is an attempt to fill a void. Newspapers are generally in a circulation freefall. Evening newspapers are almost entirely nonexistent anymore. And the newspaper editorial is becoming an endangered species.

Yet there’s still a need for thoughtful, counter-sensationalistic commentary on current events. Perhaps even more now than ever, temperamentally moderate and independent ideas need to enter circulation. The crazies are already out in full force, so the sensible must show up and push back.

Five days a week, generally at 7:00 pm Central Time, the Evening Post & Mail delivers a carefully-sourced editorial comment in 750 words or less, guided by four principles: Make money, have fun, clean up after yourself, and mind your business.
